Position: Computer Store Technician / IT Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
Daily opening, management and closing of shop
Handle sales and enquiries from walk in customers, web inquiries, phone calls
Listen to and advise customer on their IT issues and quote customer price and timeline
Complete the task for customer within the timeframe promised
Attend to retail sales of computers and accessories
Hardware purchasing, stock management and coordination with vendors and suppliers
Work on getting more corporate clients for on-site support services
Monitor and update company social media channels regularly
Oversee the monthly sales target
Technical Requirements:
Able to converse well in English and Mandarin with customers
Strong knowledge of OSX, Windows, Office, Email Applications, Cloning programs
Ability to troubleshoot every type of desktop computer issue, and build a PC from scratch
Ability to assemble and disassemble laptops of various models
Knowledge of data recovery methods
Knowledge of phone repair
Characteristic Requirements:
Friendly and able to maintain rapport and good communication with customers by examining problems; identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques
Able to independently manage a store alone at times
Good time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks accordingly during peak periods
A neat, organized and efficient person always looking to improve work flow in the company
Proactive and does more than just the basics of your job scope
Committed and willing to grow with the company in the long term
2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Compensation Package:
Basic Salary from $2300 excluding commission
6 day work week, 11am to 8pm
